My Destination Startup Intensive

So, you want to run
your own travel agency.

We did too. We opened our first one in May 2015 with Php 50,000, one laptop and no connections at all. It wasn't this agency. My Destination came later, and everything we learned the hard way went into it. One day, and we'll walk you through the lot.

₱50,000

That's everything we had.

May 2015, our first agency. Chapter 02 itemises where every peso of it went, including what we'd never buy again.

2018

Then came My Destination.

Loving travel is
the easy part.

  • 01Nobody tells you what it actually costs
  • 02The paperwork is a maze
  • 03You end up pricing on instinct
  • 04And then the bookings don't come

Chapter one

How we got started

The honest version. First client, first supplier, and the day we nearly packed it in.

Chapter two

Where the Php 50,000 went

Every peso itemised. What turned out to be essential, and what we'd happily skip second time round.

Chapter three

Our mistakes, yours to avoid

Pricing, partnerships, refunds, hiring. The expensive calls, told plainly.

Chapter four

Setting the thing up

Startup cost, equipment, supplies, office, accreditation and certification, plus your pricing structure from day one.

Chapter five

Looking after your clients

Consultation and booking end to end, the service habits that earn referrals, and the risk and compliance you can't skip.

Hands-on workshop

Build a tour package.
Price it properly.

Live, with us: assemble a real package and run the full costing (inclusions, margins, markups, break-even) on the same computation sheet we use every week.

Chapter seven

Getting people to book

Where your first clients come from, how to keep them, and what makes the agency genuinely profitable.

You'll land with
actual work.

  • A tour package you costed yourself
  • A startup budget you believe
  • An accreditation roadmap in order

Before you board

Questions we get a lot.

Do I need travel industry experience?

No. Most people who join have never sold a tour. We start from how the business works and build from there.

Is it live or pre-recorded?

Live and online for the full day. You can ask anything as we go, and the workshop is done together in real time.

Will I get a recording?

Yes. Everyone gets the replay, the workbook and our pricing computation sheet to keep.

Can we join as a group?

Yes. Group seats cost less per person, and your team works the package-building workshop together as one agency.

Is Php 50,000 really enough to start?

It was for us in May 2015, when we opened our first agency. We break down where every peso went, what we'd spend differently today, and the honest range for starting now.

Do you cover DOT accreditation?

In detail. What you need, what each step costs, how long it takes, and the order to do it in.

"Someday" is not
a departure date.
